What exactly is DDP shipping and why does it matter?
DDP stands for Delivered Duty Paid. It means we take responsibility for your cargo from pickup at the factory in China all the way to your specified delivery address -- including international freight, customs clearance, import duties and local delivery. For most e-commerce sellers, DDP is the cleanest option because there are no surprise charges when the goods arrive. You agree to one total price upfront.
How does China consolidation save me money?
If you source from 3, 4 or 10 different suppliers, each shipment alone might not fill a container -- meaning you’d pay expensive LCL rates for each one. By sending all goods to our consolidation warehouse in China first, we combine them into a single, larger shipment. A larger shipment almost always gets a better per-CBM rate, and you only pay one set of destination charges instead of several.
Can CargoBridge ship directly to Amazon FBA warehouses?
Yes. We handle FBA shipment creation, labelling requirements, carton preparation and delivery directly to Amazon’s fulfillment centers in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Netherlands and Canada. We’re familiar with Amazon’s receiving requirements and stay current with their policies.
What shipping routes do you cover?
Our main shipping lanes run from China to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Canada, Australia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman. If your destination isn’t listed, reach out -- we handle many additional countries on request.
How do you handle product quality issues before shipment?
Before goods leave China, our inspection team checks samples against your product specifications -- dimensions, materials, function, packaging and labelling. We photograph items and provide a report. If something is wrong, you find out before it’s on a ship, not after it arrives at your warehouse. This pre-shipment inspection step is built into the workflow, not an add-on afterthought.
How is CargoBridge different from a standard freight forwarder?
A traditional freight forwarder books cargo space and clears customs. CargoBridge starts much earlier -- finding and vetting your suppliers, coordinating orders, inspecting goods, photographing products, consolidating shipments, then handling freight and DDP delivery. We also support dropshipping so we can ship directly to your end customers. It’s a complete supply chain partnership, not just freight booking.
What Incoterms does CargoBridge work with?
We work with EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP. Most of our cross-border e-commerce clients prefer DDP for simplicity, but we’ll recommend the right Incoterm based on your trade lane, cargo type and risk tolerance. Our team will explain the practical difference in plain language, not trade jargon.
